What inspires your music… perhaps similar to this.
Quite right but I think music is more to me the way to explore my life. I also do fine arts for the same reason. I am asking questions because I like your poems. How long time have you been as a teacher?

I paint, draw and sculpture and I specialized to women because a woman is very challenging and beautiful object for arts. Do you ever use maths for your poem process?

very very basic maths …counting words and syllables only…🤭

What kind of music is the closest to your heart?
that’s a difficult one to answer… 😬
all types depending on the mood…though i tend to lean more to the soft , soothing relaxing kind …these allow you those moments to pause…( lol does that even describe music 😂)

Yes it does. How much do you express your mood with your poetry?
almost always dependent on the mood lol …its a difficult one not to be influenced by …
does it work this way for your music too…
Yes it does but because I have a chromesthesia I can compose music from the pictures, colors, shapes etc.. but still moods and emotions play a big role in there. If you just think about a flower, can you write a poem by just thinking about that?
that’s interesting…intriguing actually. Means you will always be inspired and won’t really have a down moment with composing…unlike with writing.
I can … though again it depends on the mood lol …some days it will be the flower, others day the thorns lol…
What kind of weather there is now and what is your mood now?
blue skies…scattered clouds … sunshine peeps … and thankfully no rain lol … light weather and a comfortable mood … 🙃
Let’s play 😊 Write a poem about that (weather) and do it in an hour. Just look and feel that weather and let’s see what happens 😋 Agreed?

technically, in town…but there’s enough of nature here to make it feel less busy and homely lol…
That sounds great 👍 I live on an island, a beautiful nature and very peaceful place to make music. How much is temperature, it’s the summer there?
an island…that sounds greater than a city …peaceful is always better…
Summers here go up to 38/30 degrees… rarely in the 40’s….

There is really hot, are you inland or near the sea? You are surrounded by the same way 😊
inland… usually around December it starts getting hot …currently we’re in Spring…
your weather there… considering it’s an island… you’re fortunate to have the sea nearby…😋
I think you have there pretty much different animals because there is so warm. Africa is famous for its fauna and flora. Big wild animals can be dangerous but if you were born there you know what to do if meet some of them. You also see the different starry sky than I do here and also the sun goes from the right to left, here it goes from the left to right 😊
lol, the animals keep within their territories… thus far, i haven’t seen one roaming freely here. 🤭
We have many nature reserves for these animals…that protects them and us …thankfully.
If you don’t mind me asking, where are you from, Jean ?
I live in South West Finland on the island, I love to be here because it is so quiet and peaceful. As a musician I appreciate the place like this. Musicians are always on the road and meeting people, so the solitude is the best I can have. And here it’s very relaxing and good to compose a new material.
Finland…also known for it’s myths and legends and folklore , right✨️… sounds like a good place to be, especially for an artist like yourself, as you say…and it’s clear how much you enjoy being there.
That “on the road” sounds tiring to me lol … i doubt i could do something like that 😬😂…
I am also a music teacher but I noticed that pedagogical work wasn’t for me. That work requires something I don’t have. I can inspire, teach but.. I think I myself want to learn always something new 😊 Because you have worked for 20 years as a teacher you have that something 🤗
lol, it’s not the easiest profession on the mind … I’m sure you’ve experienced this as a teacher… and these patience levels are tested on repeat…🥴😂
It’s good…i suppose in a way we all are life- long learners … wanting to learn the new and master the not so new 😬

Were you inspired by Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata? This has a similar vibe. Wonderful! 👏👏👏
Maybe little but I have very often played classical guitar in moonlit nights, for instance on the little boat which is in the middle of the small lake and the audience has been by the lake. In that way the guitar sounds amazingly well 😋

Yes 😊 I have always been very independent and willing to try different things. I have had gigs in very different and weird places. Now you tell me something about yourself 😃 I must go now but I’ll be back tomorrow. Try this picture/singing thing👍
